Richard particularly enjoys the challenge of creating images, which are visually interesting and have great depth. His 'tree burst' work is unique in the way it captures the forest landscape and transforms it into a technicolour abstract display. This is made even more remarkable by the fact that they have not been manipulated digitally in any way to create this effect, but have been achieved solely by the use of different photographic techniques.
